Uber Eats x Wizarding World

The Challenge

We love an audacious ask, so when Uber Eats wanted to create a next-level Wizarding World of Harry Potter physical and digital experience exclusive to Uber Eats app users, we embraced the magic.


The Solution

Calling on the in-depth capabilities of each of our specialist teams, we dreamed up a magical holiday trunk that merged physical and digital elements, in partnership with Special Group creative agency.

Fans opened the trunk to find a letter with a personalized message floating virtually off the page. From there, the delight was in the details, with gingerbread sourced from famous British bakers, The Biscuiteers; scannable cookies that launched AR games; and a lovingly rendered 3D 1960 Ford Anglia in AR. All acknowledged by a Bronze Pencil in the AR/VR/MR Category at the One Show Awards.
